Add-on for Adobe Express
Org Chart from CSV – an editable chart in Adobe Express
Upload a CSV, or paste the rows from your staff list — name, job title, manager, department — and the add-on draws the org chart on your page in Adobe Express, as ordinary shapes and text, one colour per department. What is wrong in the data is named at the top, with a fix you can apply in one click. Free, with no account.

What it does
Data in, chart out. Adobe Express has org chart templates you fill in by hand; this starts from the list you already keep.
Paste or upload
Rows copied from a spreadsheet, or a
.csvor.tsvfile: name, job title, manager, department. A header row is recognised, in English or in Dutch.Messy data does not stop you
A misspelled manager, a reporting loop or a name that appears twice is listed at the top with a suggested fix — “Jan Bakkr → Jan Bakker?” — that you apply with one click. A fix edits the rows, so what you see is what you insert.
The chart is made anyway
Nothing blocks the insert. The people a problem concerns go in a “Needs attention” section at the bottom, marked, rather than keeping the chart from existing.
Eight layouts
Classic, horizontal, half fan, spider web, rings, compact team lists, bubbles per department, and a card grid for a who-is-who.
One of them suggested
The add-on picks a layout for the size of your team and the shape of your page and says why. Switch to another whenever you disagree.
Text stays horizontal
No rotated labels anywhere, not even in the radial layouts: those grow their rings until the cards stop overlapping instead of turning the words on their side.
Photos, if you have them
Pick image files from your device and they are matched to people by file name — jan-bakker.jpg finds Jan Bakker. Each one is cropped square and shrunk before it goes into the document.
A colour per department
With a legend, and light and dark variants that follow the page the chart lands on.
Ordinary shapes and text
One group for the chart and one for each person: card, colour band, text, photo, with the connectors as paths. Every part of it stays editable afterwards.
Good to know
Three things worth knowing before you install, rather than after.
Inserting, not updating
This first version draws a chart; it cannot load one back to change it the way Sequent does. Keep the rows in the panel, edit them and insert again.
A chart that cannot shrink
The chart is scaled to fit your page, but never below a legible size. If it will not fit, it is inserted larger than the page and the panel says so and names a layout that would fit.
No drag and drop
The chart arrives through the Insert button, in the middle of the page. The panel says so underneath it.
Help and support
A chart that comes out wrong, a header row it will not read, or a fix it suggests that is not the one you wanted? Write to hello@askomni.app with the rows you were inserting and what the panel said; you will get an answer from the person who wrote it.
Private by design
A staff list is personal data about other people, so the add-on treats it as something to be kept rather than collected: it has no server, no account and no analytics.
No account
Nothing to sign up for and nothing to log in to. Open the add-on and it works.
No network requests
It makes none of its own, so the names of your colleagues go nowhere. There is nowhere for them to go.
No analytics, no AI
No tracking, no telemetry, no advertising, no third-party code and no generative AI.
Your list stays with you
The rows and your options are kept in the storage Adobe Express gives the add-on, for you alone. Photos are never stored at all: they go from your device into your chart.
