Terms of service
In short: the add-on is free and provided as is. Your documents stay yours. Check important documents before you rely on them — Version history keeps every earlier state. Dutch law applies.
Who we are
Captions & Cross Reference (the "add-on") is provided by Omni, a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) of Ryan Koning, Dennenweg 34, 9674 JW Winschoten, the Netherlands ("we", "us"). Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number 42088998, VAT number NL005486458B92. By installing or using the add-on you agree to these terms.
Free
The add-on is free of charge. There is no paid tier, trial or subscription.
Your content
Your documents remain yours. The add-on only works inside the document you use it in, as described in our privacy policy.
Acceptable use
Use the add-on lawfully and in line with Google's Terms of Service and any rules of your organisation. Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes or misuse the add-on.
No warranty
The add-on is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Check important documents before you rely on them. Version history (File → Version history) keeps every earlier state of your document.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or content, arising from your use of the add-on. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for it, which is zero. This does not limit any liability that the law does not allow us to limit, and it does not affect the rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.
Changes and availability
We may update, change or discontinue the add-on at any time. We may update these terms; the effective date above will change when we do, with a note below. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
- 19 October 2026: first version.
Third parties
Google Docs and Google Workspace are provided by Google LLC under Google's own terms. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live.
